Karen’s Trail Mix
This is a healthy, easy to prepare, balanced snack to have on hand to keep the “Hangry” away, after a workout, or as a snack for yourself or a crowd. It disappears quickly whenever I make it at a gathering. It travels well and can be stored in an airtight container for two months.
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw almonds
- 1 cup raw cashews
- 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- Optional: 1/4 cup dried fruit
Preparation
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and stir until combined. Store in an airtight container.
