For most people, sleeping somewhere other than in their own bedroom is tough. I have significant jet lag issues. A couple of my must-pack items are a lavender pillow spray and an eye pillow. Ear plugs are a Godsend too.
A cooler room will help you sleep better. I tend to crank up the air conditioning and pile on an extra blanket.
Tip: pack a flameless votive candle and place it on the nightstand or in the bathroom to give you a little light when you get up in the middle of the night.
