Junk Utility Drawer
If I call it a junk drawer, it’s bound to fill up with just that…junk! A utility drawer, on the other hand is stocked with tools and essentials that make my life easier every day.
I use interlocking trays to group similar items and keep things organized. Frequently used items like scissors, pens, and tape go in the front of the drawer for easy access, while less-used tools and fix-it items are stored toward the back or sides.
Since batteries are a literal moving target, I prefer to keep them in a dedicated storage case.
Here’s my tried-and-true list of essential supplies, organized by priority. I hope you find it both helpful and inspiring—and that, like mine, it becomes the most-used drawer in your home.
